May 1st Reboot

This year I've decided to launch my new business site (Infinity Web Design) as a part of May 1st Reboot and of course also the CSS Reboot. With this redesign, everything is changing. And I mean everything. I'm not only redesigning the website, but am also redesigning the invoices, business cards, letterhead, etc. It was long overdue, as my current invoices are circa 2000...

I'm looking forward to getting this one out there, though the May 1st deadline will be a bit loose, as there is much left to do. However, the majority of the website itself will launch on May 1st. I'm also excited to update the portfolio section - there is some cool stuff to show.

I think I'm going to reboot too, if I can fit it in between assignments. Time to leave gradients and shadows behind for a little Wicked Worn.

Good luck with the new site.

Chris -

I think what I need to do to get myself blogging more is redesign this site, as well. I've got a few ideas running around in my head, and know the general direction I want to take it.

As far as talking about business, that and design are the two topics that interest me the most right now, so you can expect some of both. :)

That's good news.

I am thinking of going it alone but don't really know much about business, it would be good to hear from people who have made it like yourself.

Ryan,

Looks good from what I can see. I think it gives it much more of a professional look.

Another perfect job...

Hillary Clinton??

It does look good, though my eye says there should be a faint line between the two columns (nav/content). The link in the post doesnt work anymore. portfolios->clients.

There is lots of flash on that page, adblock has gone crazy and the adblock this button is everywhere.

I like the new design. It will be quite interesting to see what the clients page(s) will look like when it/they are finished.

Also, im looking forward to hearing some post about web design as a business, as Chris commented.

"There is lots of flash on that page, adblock has gone crazy and the adblock this button is everywhere."

That's because he has used SiFR. It changes you heading for Flash.
